New Recording with a New Guitar

August 2, 2008

I haven’t done any recording for awhile, having recently wrapped up my revised fusion project and released a CD on CD Baby with those tracks.

However, there are still some of my old fusion tunes I have been planning to do, and I thought I’d take a crack at one and use a newly acquired Anderson Cobra

Here is the result:

This tune (titled Louie XLIX) has four short quotations from *garage band* songs from the 60’s that my grade-school band played. If you’re interested, you could see if you identify them. Except for the first one, which may have been just a local hit around Pittsburgh, they should be easy for any geezer to recognize.
