Days of Wine and Roses

“Days of Wine and Roses” was a 1962 movie starring Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick. The main theme from the film was composed by Henry Mancini (with lyrics by Johnny Mercer). Andy Williams took it to #26 on the singles charts in 1963, and Henry Mancini’s instrumental version topped out at #33 that same year.

My version is a “slow-dance” guitar instrumental. It has a short, jazzy break in the middle in recognition of the song’s stature as very popular jazz standard.
