The Fool on the Hill

“The Fool on the Hill” was written and sung by Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon–McCartney) and recorded in 1967. It was included on the “Magical Mystery Tour” EP, album, and the Magical “Mystery Tour” film.

Though one of the more popular songs from “Magical Mystery Tour”, the Beatles never released it as a single. Sergio Mendes took a version to #6 on the US charts in 1968.

My instrumental arrangement is based on the Beatles version.
