First published in 1946 with music by Walter Gross and lyrics by Jack Lawrence. It has since become a popular jazz standard.
Más Cencerro
“Más Cencerro” is an original composition intended to be in the style of 1960s guitar instrumentals such as the Ventures did. In particular, it is an attempt to create a riff-based track such as those often written by the band members to fill out an album which otherwise probably featured covers of popular tunes of the day.
When Sunny Gets Blue
This is my instrumental cover of “When Sunny Gets Blue”. It was written by Marvin Fisher and Jack Segal, and became a jazz standard. The song was first recorded by Johnny Mathis and Ray Conniff and his Orchestra in 1956 as the “B side” to “Wonderful, Wonderful” and became a big hit inits own right.
Here’s That Rainy Day
This is a cover of “Here’s That Rainy Day“, a song with music by Jimmy Van Heusen and lyrics by Johnny Burke that was published in 1953. It was first introduced in the Broadway musical Carnival in Flanders. It is an “American Songbook” standard and has been recorded by countless vocal and instrumental artists in many genres.
My Heart Will Go On
This is my instrumental cover of “My Heart Will Go On”. It was originally recorded by Canadian singer Celine Dion. It serves as the main theme song to James Cameron’s blockbuster film Titanic. The song’s music was composed by James Horner. With worldwide sales estimated at 18 million copies, it is one of the best-selling singles of all time and reportedly the second-best-selling single by a female artist in history. I cannot find which is the top.
Hank Marvin included a cover of this tune on his 2000 album “Marvin at the Movies”.
Angel Eyes
