Both the Ventures and Shadows discographies are full of tracks like this. I many, many cases, I actually prefer these tracks to the “featured” ones.

“Dusty” is my tribute to Dusty Hill, who passed away on July 28, 2021. A founding member of that little old band from Texas, ZZ Top, Dusty Hill laid down a driving bottom end, locking down the rhythm with Frank Beard behind Billy Gibbons. Some people are not really replaceable.
