This is my cover of “Panhandle Rag”, which was written by Leon McAuliffe in the late 1940s. It was recorded by “Leon McAuliffe and his Western Swing Band” in 1949. It is considered something of a country “standard” has been recorded by countless artists, including the Ventures, who covered it on their 1963 album “The Ventures Play the Country Classics”.
